About

I was in a pageant “werkin’ it”.

“Harpo, who dis woman?”

If you don’t recognize this classic line from the character named “Squeak” in The Color Purple, it’s okay. I won’t judge.

Just who is Clarisma Jones? Well, she is the dramatic habibti that cackles instead of laughs with quick-witted commentary and one-liners “on deck”. Currently invested in life in Ohio, Clarisma Jones represents the zaniest and most reflective aspects of the personality of The Silly Girl “C”.

Ok, but why the name ‘Clarisma’? You’ll have to read about that here.

I am degreed and unbothered. I love Jesus and delinquents…
…Speaking Spanish and eating Indian cuisine…
…Long walks and fried chicken…
…Loud banter and silence…
…Books but not reading…
…Travel and pajama days…
…My family and strangers.

If you catch me in the middle of the Cupid Shuffle, be sure to grab ya auntie and join me.
