A delightful question. So my real name is Clarissa. I’m really just a girl from the country who loves Jesus, laughing, and people.
These 3 loves plus being a lil’ hood and loud have somehow turned me into this really fun person. Like who actually enjoys their own company?? *Points at self* It’s a real blessing!
I don’t say that to brag. I mention it because it is a testament of the Lord’s grace in my life. We call that contentment. I pray that we all find contentment.
Ok, but for real, where did the “Clarisma” come from? A leader in the organization that I work for called me that as a joke a few times after I think someone messed up my name and called me that. It’s a combination of “Clarissa” and “charisma”. It was a fun nickname and it kinda stuck.
Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth. After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it. So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content – Paul in a letter to Timothy in 1 Timothy 6:6-8.
