Happy Lunar New Year! I love celebrating this holiday with some of my friends from China and various parts of Asia. I read that this is the year of the snake (which ordinarily for me is not comforting) which highlights intelligence, resilience, and love. That feels like the theme for my life in 2025.
This year I’ve been developing new rhythms and holding onto what feels like a roller coaster of changes in my life. *Insert gif of little kid smiling broadly*
I’ve been trying to be more consistent in my life (again) with exercising, practicing gratitude, prioritizing my goals, and now with posting blog entries.
Speaking of gratitude…I’ve been so thankful these days for:
- A place to live
- Food that I haven’t had to cook
- Clean water
- Safety
- Love from family and friends
- Cuddles and giggles with my youngest nephew
- Hope
- People coming together to fight for community changes
- Answered prayers
- A tax preparer and accountant who is a straight shooter
What are you grateful for?
